The mind interprets the world. The body reads the energy underneath it. If you’re not tuned into both, you’re not actually getting the full conversation life is having with you.

The mind is not wrong - it is limited.

We’ve all been taught to understand life through the mind.

The mind wants categories.

Good or bad. Right or wrong. Success or failure.

It takes the living experience of reality and breaks it into separate pieces so it can understand it.

This isn’t a flaw.

It’s how the mind creates order. It is its superpower!

But it is not the full system of perception available within consciousness.


The Body Is Reading Something Else

While the mind is interpreting, the body is reading energy.

It is constantly sensing the field of consciousness you are in.

The atmosphere of a situation.

The truth underneath someone’s words.

The subtle shifts in your own internal state.

This is not thinking.

It is direct perception.

And most people have been trained to override it in favour of mental explanation.


When You Only Use One System

When you rely only on the mind, life becomes something you analyze.

You evaluate what is happening instead of actually meeting it in direct experience.

You try to decide what it means before you’ve felt what it is.

And something gets lost in that gap.

The immediacy of lived consciousness.

The intelligence of the body.

The subtleties that don’t translate into language.


The Shift into Full Perception

As consciousness deepens and becomes more inclusive, something begins to change.

You stop asking only:

“What does this mean?”

And you begin including a different layer of attention:

“What am I sensing here?”

“What is my body noticing that my mind hasn’t explained yet?”

“What is actually present in this moment, underneath my interpretation?”

This is not about abandoning the mind.

It is about including the body again within consciousness.


Reading the Living Field

Life is not only information to be decoded (mind).

It is a living field of consciousness you are in relationship with.

And both systems — mind and body — are part of how consciousness perceives itself through you.

The mind interprets.

The body reads.

And together they give you a fuller sense of what is actually happening.

Not just the story of life.

But the experience of it.


A Simple Practice

This week, choose one moment each day where you pause before your mind jumps in to interpret what is happening.

  • It could be a conversation; a feeling in your body; a reaction you have;a situation that feels unclear.

  1. First, notice what your mind is saying.

  2. Then gently shift attention to your body and ask:

    What am I sensing here, before I explain it intellectually?

You don’t need to turn it into concepts, ideas and meaning.

You are simply re-opening a line of perception that is often ignored.

And sometimes, what becomes available there is not a conclusion…

but a clearer relationship with the actual moment.
