I'm sure you have noticed how guilt pushes you to act quickly. Yet never from a place that actually feels true. Or how the harder you try to appease the guilt and be 'good', the more disconnected you become from yourself?
We often mistake guilt for conscience, thinking guilt makes us a better person.
Guilt shows up in the body as tightness, urgency, and pressure.
It whispers “You should” and convinces you that saying no makes you unloving.
But guilt doesn’t purify you.
It contracts your energy field, cuts off your intuition, and keeps you stuck in loops of fear, obligation, and self-abandonment.
This is why so many people say yes when their whole being is saying no.
This isn’t responsibility.
This is disconnection.
Where guilt is tight and urgent…
Love is clear, light but grounded, and spacious.
A simple way to feel the difference:
Guilt: pressure in the chest, swirling thoughts, urgency
Love: steady breath, inner clarity, subtle “this is true for me”
When you act from love instead of guilt, your body relaxes, your intuition strengthens, and healing becomes easier.
Pause before responding.
Place one hand on your heart, one on your belly.
Ask:
“Is guilt guiding me? If guilt wasn’t here, what would I choose?”
“If love were guiding me, what feels true?”
Notice the sensation:
Pressure = guilt
Clarity = alignment
This tiny moment of honesty restores your connection with your soul.
If you’re wanting deeper support to release guilt, reconnect with your intuition, and move from soul instead of conditioning—this is exactly the work we do inside The Spiritual Healing Temple, my online membership.
It’s a sacred space where we meet monthly with your body’s wisdom, your soul, and my Spirit Healer Team to clear the emotional and energetic patterns that keep you out of alignment.
If guilt has been living in your body for a long time, your system may need extra support as it unwinds.
