  1. Sit or lie down somewhere quiet.

  2. Place a hand on your heart or your belly.

  3. Take one slow breath and ask your body:
    “Is there something in me that wants to be felt?”

  4. Don’t chase an answer.
    Don’t force anything.

  5. Whatever happens—silence, numbness, emotion, or nothing at all—is perfect.

Stillness has a language.
Your body will speak when it feels safe.
