"It wasn't my intention". "I didn't mean it".
I was talking about intention with a friend recently. He told me about a woman in a reality TV show he is watching who tramples over other people's boundaries leaving a trail of chaos and havoc behind her. Whenever she is called to account for her behaviour and the hurt she caused, her response is "I am sorry - it was not my intention".
I thought to myself - this is a great opportunity for us all to take a quick dive into how essential intention is to our well-being! Let's jump right in.
What happens when you live without intention?
- WITHOUT INTENTION: Like this woman, you behave without awareness of the effects of your actions on others. In the case of this reality TV person, she is also choosing to disengage from the effects of her actions of herself.
- WITH INTENTION: The likelihood is some of the drama and chaos swirling around this reality TV person would dissipate.
Phew- that is a very clear picture of intention vs no intention. Intention is clearly an essential tool for avoiding chaos.
What does living with intention look like?
- Living with intention means living a more awake and aware life.
- A life where you are more conscious and deliberate in your actions and choices by actively working towards the goals and values that are important to you.

- ⚡️ FULFILMENT: When you are aligned with your spirit, you may find that you experience more joy, peace, and fulfilment in your life.

Start by becoming more conscious and deliberate in your actions and choices when it comes to creating a spiritual connection. Here are some simple and quick actions you can add to your daily routine to get you started.
- ⚡️ Affirmation: Every day, when you awaken, affirm that you are spirit and deliberately and specifically invite your spirit to be centralised in your heart, mind and actions throughout your day. Create a gentle affirmation you can say each day. An example might be. "I am spirit; I am love".
- ⚡️ Use Colour: Colour is a wonderful tool to shift your vibration bringing you closer in connection to your spirit. You can use whatever colour feels right for you. Start with a delicious pink love heart in your chest that you keep imagining glowing with light periodically throughout your day.
